Par Singh is responsible for Europe, Asia and International Manufacturing for LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest olefins, polyolefins, chemicals and refining companies.
Prior to the December 2007 merger of Basell and Lyondell Chemical Company, he was senior vice president, Technology Services and Global Projects for Basell.
Singh joined Basell predecessor Himont in Bayport, Texas, in 1988. During his 22 years with LyondellBasell and predecessor companies he has held various assignments in plant management, manufacturing, licensing and the Technology business. His previous roles included manufacturing director for Europe in Brussels, vice president of Licensing in Milan and senior vice president of Global Projects and Engineering in Wesseling.
Singh was born in India and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Osmania University in India and a master’s from the University of Michigan.
