Timothy D. (Tim) Roberts is senior vice president, Olefins and Polyolefins - Americas for LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest olefins, polyolefins, chemicals and refining companies.
Roberts has a broad knowledge of the global chemical industry. He joined LyondellBasell in June 2011. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Planning and Development for Chevron Phillips Chemical.
Prior to this, Roberts was President and CEO of Americas Styrenics LLC, a joint venture between the Dow Chemical Company and Chevron Phillips Chemical. Roberts has worked for Chevron Phillips, its predecessors and/or joint ventures for more than 20 years. In that time he held a number of management positions with increasing responsibilities including Global Business Manager, Director of Capital Projects, and Country Manager in Qatar.
Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University.
