LyondellBasell is the largest producer and marketer of polypropylene and polyethylene in the region, with production sites in six countries throughout Western and Eastern Europe.
Our Advanced Polyolefins Business, based in The Netherlands, operates polypropylene compounding plants in four European countries and two advanced polyolefins plants in The Netherlands and one in Italy.
Our Technology Business, based in Frankfurt, Germany, is comprised of process licensing, catalyst sales, technology services and new ventures. It operates catalyst production plants in Ferrara, Italy and Frankfurt and Ludwigshafen, Germany.
With approximately one-third of our propylene oxide production capacity in Europe, sales representation is throughout the continent paired with a network of distributors in the Middle East and Africa.
