MASTER in POLYMER ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE (MASPENS)
MASTER in INGEGNERIA DELLA POLIMERIZZAZIONE E DEI PROCESSI POLIMERICI (12913)
The Master of Polymer Engineering and Science is jointly organized by “Sapienza” University of Rome and LyondellBasell.
“Learning by doing” is an innovative training approach featured in this MASPENS course, offering students a unique opportunity to combine highly specialized training with an in-the-field experience.
The training activity will be held in Ferrara (Italy) at LyondellBasell’s “Giulio Natta” Research Centre.
The official language of the course is English.
Eligible candidates from Europe or other foreign countries should hold a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from a university in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Chemistry*.

To enroll, candidates from Europe countries or other foreign countries must provide the following documents
- Pre-enrollment schedule
- Master’s degree
- DICHIARAZIONE DEI VALORI
- Proof of payment of the pre-enrollment fee
PLEASE NOTE:
The DICHIARAZIONE DEI VALORI must be obtained at the Italian diplomatic delegation of your country.
Without this legal document, enrollment is not possible.
The maximum number of students accepted to the program is ten (10).
Selection of candidates will be based on their Scientific Curricula, and admission is subject to the evaluation of the selection committee.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: Successful candidates will receive partial financial support from Basell Poliolefine Italia S.r.l., a LyondellBasell company, to subsidize the university fee and their own contribution to living expenses.
DEADLINES:
- Application must be submitted before 25 October 2011
- Start of Master’s training: 20 January 2012 in Ferrara (I) at the “Giulio Natta” Research Centre
- End of Master’s training: October 2012
