Daniel's nearly 20 years of chemical industry experience at LyondellBasell combined with his accounting background is a valuable asset to our operations at the Fos-sur-Mer Caban plant in France.

As comptroller of operations costs, Daniel monitors and controls maintenance costs at the plant.
“My initial training in chemistry has allowed me to understand the way the factory works, and my accounting training helped me master the mechanisms of the complex SAP system,” he said.
Daniel’s initiative is a good fit in a company culture that he describes as “dynamic and always striving to enhance progress and results.”
A good mastery of the system allowed me to implement a detailed, precise reporting system that provides managers better control of both routine and unexpected maintenance costs at the plant.
That focus on progress and results is what led Daniel to join employees from other European LyondellBasell sites to participate in the annual Rotterdam-Rieme-Villers St.Paul-Fos-su-Mer Relay for cancer research.
“It was an unforgettable memory of a multi-national group of employees working with dedication to a common cause.”
