- Colored markers – the barrels are produced using our polypropylene plastic
- Books – printing inks rely on our solvents for proper application and drying, and to retain vivid colors on the pages
- Binders, plastic folders and notebooks – sheets made with our polypropylene and polyethylene plastics are formed into these products to keep students organized
- Pens – our specialty plastics are used to produce soft-touch grips of pens for ease of use

LyondellBasell helps our community schools in many other ways. Each year, LyondellBasell employees from sites across the U.S. Gulf Coast donate and deliver truckloads of backpacks and other supplies to area schools. This year, employees at six Houston-area facilities donated nearly $12,000 in supplies to 10 schools in five local districts. The products provide students most in need with the vital tools required for learning.
