LyondellBasell’s range of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene materials address customer requirements for woven and nonwoven products used in demanding geotextile and agriculture applications.
These types of applications must withstand extreme environmental conditions, and our high-performance resins are selected by customers for their ability to deliver resilience and longevity in use, good processing and stretching characteristics, anti-gas fading additivation, excellent spinnability and outstanding mechanical property balance.
LyondellBasell’s PP and high density polyethylene resins are used by customers for heavy duty netting used to support building and transportation foundations, soil stabilisation in farming and for embankments near motorways. Other customer applications include woven fabrics to protect crops from harsh conditions and woven and nonwoven constructions that support the growth and ripening of soft fruits.
For highly demanding applications we offer our metallocene catalyst based products, marketed as Metocene.
