Plexar® 3000 Series LLDPE Tie-Resins
Plexar LLDPE-based tie-layers are primarily used in flexible packaging applications. In recent years, the increased selection of LLDPE-based tie-resins has displaced EVA and LDPE tie-resins, primarily due to their exceptional performance and versatility.
Plexar LLDPE base tie-layers provide excellent toughness and outstanding adhesion performance. They adhere well to a variety of substrates including EVOH, polyamide (nylon), metals and to some ionomers.
Plexar LLDPE-based tie-layers also exhibit good sealabilty, melt strength, superior film strength and dimensional stability. Many of these Plexar products provide exceptional value. Additionally, some grades meet FDA requirements as a direct food contact layer.
Plexar LLDPE base tie-layers can also can be used in rigid packaging applications including blow molding, sheet and industrial products. Plexar LLDPE based tie-layers provide outstanding adhesion performance and superior processability in rigid packaging applications, including blow-molded containers, tubes, sheet and thermoforming.
