LyondellBasell’s Moplen and Pro-fax polypropylene products (homopolymers, block copolymers) are selected by customers for use in opaque containers due to their high functionality, cost-effectiveness and ability to address consumer trends. Alathon high flow HDPE grades are also available for large volume, opaque containers requiring impact strength for flash freezer and frozen end-uses.
In today’s shelf-appeal focused market, the packaging of dairy, baked goods, margarine, ice cream, salads, fresh food, frozen foods and non-food stuffs (such as paint) as well as tools requires unique performance attributes that LyondellBasell resins can deliver.
We produce Alathon, Moplen, Pro-fax and Metocene high-fluidity resins for use by customers in thin-walled containers and complex containers with low molded-in stress requirements. Our Clyrell resins are selected when high gloss, bright or metallic colors, high impact resistance and low stress-whitening are required.
