LyondellBasell’s Frankfurt Site includes two polyethylene manufacturing lines along with research & development (R&D) facilities for polyethylene and marketing, sales and technical service activities. The site is located in the -Hoechst Industrial Park adjacent to the Main River in Frankfurt.

The two high density polyethylene manufacturing lines at Frankfurt produce resins that are used by customers in healthcare, food packaging, film and other packaging applications. Polymers produced at Frankfurt-Höchst are marketed under the trade names Hostalen, Purell and Histif. The R&D department operates chemical and physical laboratories and a polymerization unit, including a testing facility to produce polyethylene.
