The Moerdijk plant is located in the area of the Havenschap Moerdijk in the vicinity of Hollands Diep, close to Klundert, Zevenbergen and Moerdijk. The site stretches over 37 hectares. The plant produces Catalloy and Polybutene-1 polymers. Our Catalloy plant is the largest and most advanced facility of its kind worldwide and produces a range of state-of-the-art polymers based on propylene. Catalloy polymers are used in a wide range of applications such as car bumpers, roofing, asphalt modification and food packaging. Our Polybutene-1 plant is the only plant of its kind and produces special polymers sold to customers around the world and used mainly for piping applications for drinking water systems and heating/cooling systems.
