Educational support. We host tours for area students.Global Care Day. Thousands of our employees, worldwide, work to make a difference in the world by joining this annual community-service day. This year, volunteers from the Tarragona site and colleagues from the Barcelona office helped to beautify an area in the nearby Constanti village, planting trees and landscaping the area. In years past, we have planted trees in a new community park in Vila-seca and in a local park in La Canonja.Volunteerism. We encourage our employees’ engagement in the local community. We have contributed to cultural events sponsored by the town councils of Vila-seca, Reus and Tarragona. We also support the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the Fortuny Theater Foundation and the Nàstic de Tarragona Soccer Club (through the Association of Chemical Industries of Tarragona). Collectively, our employees spend hundreds of hours each month in volunteer service. They serve as emergency responders, coaches, mentors, and board members in the community.
