Community Outreach
Plant managers meet regularly with a panel of residents to discuss the site’s environmental and safety performance, community activities and expectations.
Global Care Day
Employee volunteers also regularly participate in LyondellBasell’s annual Global Care Day, a day in which thousands of company volunteers at sites around the globe make a difference by participating in local community service projects.
Philanthropy
Employees also open their hearts and wallets to charitable community organizations by contributing generously through an annual United Way payroll pledge campaign.
Volunteerism
Our employees collectively spend hundreds of hours each month in community service. They can be found as scout leaders, athletic coaches, volunteer emergency medical technicians and firefighters, and as tutors and mentors to local school children.
