LyondellBasell’s Houston Refinery Helps Feed Pasadena Families for the Holidays

November 20, 2017

HOUSTON, Texas – Nov. 20, 2017 – LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB), one of the world's largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies, today announced employees at its Houston Refinery have donated about 625 pounds of food to feed local families at Pasadena ISD’s Richey Elementary and fill pantries for the Pasadena CanDo Food Drive.

“No one should have to go without a meal,” said Jerome Mauvigney, Site Manager of LyondellBasell’s Houston Refinery. “It’s the holiday season and these organizations need food on their shelves to feed as many families as possible. Our employees recognize this time of year can be particularly difficult and are providing relief to our neighbors who might not have enough to eat.”

Employees held an internal food drive Nov. 1-13 to collect canned-goods and other non-perishable food items. For 15 consecutive years, the Houston Refinery has donated food to Richey Elementary families and over the last six years have supported the Pasadena CanDo Food Drive. Last year employees donated more than 600 pounds of food to the organizations.
