LyondellBasell Lansing site helps center for abused children in Mason on global community service day

WHEN:   Saturday, April 9, 2011; 9 a.m. - noon

WHAT: The 12th annual LyondellBasell Global Care Day is a worldwide community service initiative involving thousands of employee volunteers participating in 64 communities in 24 countries where the company operates.

LyondellBasell’s Lansing Business and Technical Center will brighten the environment at a shelter for abused children by landscaping, cleaning windows and painting and sealing playground equipment and picnic tables.

WHO: Approximately 10 volunteers from LyondellBasell’s Lansing Business and Technical Center including employees, family members and friends. They will be helping Angel House, the first of its kind to provide a child-friendly living environment for children in crisis who have been taken into protective custody.
