Employees and friends give back on 15th annual LyondellBasell Global Care Day

The 15th annual LyondellBasell Global Care Day is a worldwide community service initiative involving thousands of volunteers where the company has operations. Workers in 20 countries across six continents will mobilize all on the same day.

LyondellBasell Corpus Christi Complex volunteers will provide maintenance to a butterfly garden, trimming trees around the facility, cleaning flower beds, planting a vegetable garden and cleaning The Ark’s storage facility. This is the fifth year in a row that the Corpus Christi plant volunteers have assisted The Ark.

WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 2014; 8 - noon -- Best photo op time 9-11 a.m.

WHO:  Volunteers from LyondellBasell’s Corpus Christi Plant including workers, family and friends.

The Ark Assessment Center and Emergency Shelter for Youth, a facility for abused and neglected children, is open around the clock. It offers children from birth to 17 years an emergency shelter, assessment and prevention services, and much more.http://www.ark4kids.com/
