Community Outreach
Plant management participates in an area community advisory panel in which local industrial managers meet regularly with community leaders to discuss issues of mutual concern.
Global Care Day
Our employees are encouraged to be actively engaged in the local community and regularly participate in LyondellBasell’s annual Global Care Day, a day in which thousands of company volunteers at sites around the globe make a difference by participating in local community service projects. Many of these projects involved making enhancements to Fairport Harbor Village parks, Fairport Harbor school playgrounds, Fairport Harbor Lighthouse Museum and Harding High School baseball fields.
Philanthropy
Our employees open their hearts and wallets to support local organizations. For example, they generously support local community-service agencies through an annual United Way payroll-pledge campaign.
