Frankfurt Plant

LyondellBasell is located in the Höchst Industrial Park in a total of ten buildings, and employs around 300 employees.

At Höchst LyondellBasell, polyethylene is produced for use in the pharmaceutical and food ­industries, as well as for films and other packaging. The company markets plastic from Frankfurt under the trade names Hostalen and Purell.  In addition, LyondellBasell manufactures a catalyst for the production of polyethylene at the Höchst Industrial Park. The research department of the company operates at the chemical and physical laboratories and test and pilot plants at the site, for the development of polyethylene and catalysts for polyethylene production.
