LyondellBasell Nueces County Sports Complex

April 25, 2012 – The LyondellBasell Corpus Christi Complex will donate nearly 48 acres of land to Nueces County for the future home of the LyondellBasell Nueces County Sports Complex. The new park will be operated by the county and funded by various grants.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 2, 2012; 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

WHAT: LyondellBasell and Nueces County’s announcement of the LyondellBasell Nueces County Sports Complex and groundbreaking ceremony.

WHY: The LyondellBasell Nueces County Sports Complex will feature fields for soccer, softball, sand volleyball, football, basketball, a playground, circuit training equipment and a running track. Other amenities include a concession stand, bleachers, benches, restrooms, a press box
and a landscaped sitting area. The county is also exploring an area that can be used by local schools for science classes.
