Through LyondellBasell’s Explore & Experiment program, our employee volunteers offer hands-on science activities to local classrooms, sparking student interest in science. Thousands of students have benefited from our science expertise.

Philanthropy
Our employees open their hearts and wallets to support local organizations. For example, they generously support local community-service agencies through an annual United Way payroll-pledge campaign.
Volunteerism
We encourage our employees’ active engagement in the local community. They donate hundreds of hours to community service every month.
They are involved in organizations such as the Grundy County Economic Development Council, the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Grundy County—and more. They also serve as firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, science-fair judges, Scout leaders and coaches.
