The Clyde Plant participates in industry open days and community advisory panels. We also support local school and tertiary education initiatives. Another program is the Employee Safety Incentive Scheme that raises funds for community health services through improved workplace safety results.
The Clyde Plant participates in the Responsible Care program, managed by the Plastics and Chemical Industries Association (PACIA). The program is designed to help manufacturers monitor and improve aspects of their operations which might affect the environment and the health and safety of local community members, employees and contractors.
An important component of Responsible Care is the Community Right to Know program, which gives the public 24-hour access to information about the company’s operations, products and performance in the area of safety and the environment.
