Safety Performance
Our site has not experience a lost-time injury for many years, and our safety performance is among the best in the industry. The UK site has been recognized by the Chemical Industries Association (CIA) and by the British Safety Council for a consistently high level of safety performance. The site has been awarded the British Safety Council International Safety Award for many years in a row, and the CAI Gold Award for the past few years.
Environmental Performance
The site's environmental management systems achieved ISO-14001 accreditation in 2000. The site has an active waste reduction plan, and over the last decade we have reduced our waste generation by 42 percent, even as site operating rates have increased.
