LyondellBasell’s Chocolate Bayou Site Donates More Than $11,000 to United Way

ALVIN, Texas – Feb. 27, 2019 – LyondellBasell’s Chocolate Bayou Plant today announced it has raised a total of $11,457 in donations for three Houston area United Way chapters, including United Way of Brazoria County, Baytown and Greater Houston.
“Donating to the United Way is personal for our employees who live and work here,” said Yarelis Hernandez, Chocolate Bayou site manager. “To them, it’s about neighbors helping neighbors and knowing that their contributions are making a difference to families and individuals who need it most.”
As a result of the success of LyondellBasell’s local campaign, United Way of Brazoria County, Baytown and Greater Houston will have even more support in their efforts to empower communities and transform lives.
