Worker safety and health
We promote a safe environment and our workforce’s health and well-being through our strong health and safety programs, including clear standards, regular communication, training, wellness and mental health programs, workplace ergonomics and emergency response protocols.
Risk assessment and prevention
We encourage everyone to speak up when they see something unsafe. We thoroughly investigate incidents and near-misses and take immediate corrective action to prevent recurrence. We conduct risk assessments across all our facilities to ensure plant safety practices are upheld and continuously improved. These practices, including regular safety audits of processes and equipment, help identify potential hazards and prevent accidents.
Our process safety program establishes how we design, operate and maintain our manufacturing processes to prevent or mitigate the unplanned or uncontrolled release of process material. This program aims to prevent serious incidents and protect our workforce, communities and the environment. We maintain strict procedures for analyzing and safely operating processes involving hazardous chemicals, such as training, inspections, testing and emergency response protocols.
We follow rigorous standards to minimize risks to people and the environment throughout the product lifecycle. Our Product Safety team maintains a global product safety and stewardship program and works with customers, suppliers and distributors to achieve the highest safety standards. We aim to promote safer chemistries and technologies while ensuring safety and compliance.
