Impact modification

The LYB impact modification portfolio features polyolefin resins formulated to enhance toughness, low‑temperature impact performance and flexibility in polypropylene systems. The range includes polybutene‑1 plastomers, Catalloy reactor TPOs and polypropylene impact copolymers marketed under well‑known brands such as Koattro, Adflex, Hifax, Softell and Moplen.

These materials support compounding and processing across injection molding, cast film, extrusion coating, sheet, fiber and calendaring. Typical applications include soft‑touch components, TPO foils, interior automotive trim, instrument panels, roofing underlayment, peelable and protective films, industrial packaging and pipe coatings.
