LYB Hostalen grades feature high-performance HDPE and select polypropylene resins engineered for durability and stress crack resistance. Built on the Hostalen Advanced Cascade Process, the multimodal HDPE platform delivers a strong balance of stiffness and toughness with excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking for critical applications in film, blow molding, caps and closures and pipe. These materials run across common processes including pipe extrusion, extrusion and injection blow molding, injection molding, blown and cast film and sheet. Typical end uses include drinking water and gas distribution pipe, soil and waste pipe, bottles up to five liters, caps and closures, industrial packaging such as jerry cans and drums and industrial sheet.
