Polyethylene (PE) technologies

Our Hostalen ACP technology is a low-pressure slurry process that produces high-performance, multi-modal, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins. Hostalen ACP products set industry standards for the balance of stiffness and toughness, impact resistance, and stress cracking resistance, providing excellent operability in critical applications such as infrastructure pipes, film, blow molding, and caps and closures.

Our Hyperzone PE technology is the next evolution in HDPE technology. Hyperzone PE technology utilizes a proprietary process to produce HDPE resin with enhanced qualities, all from a single manufacturing plant. HDPE produced through this unique process is lightweight, strong and durable, and is ideally suited for various applications, including piping systems, industrial packaging and household products.

Our Lupotech technologies, including the Lupotech A and T high-pressure technologies, offer high conversion rates and an effective heat transfer system. That translates to the lowest operating and investment costs in the production of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers. Resins produced by these technologies are utilized effectively in various industries, including photovoltaic encapsulant materials, packaging, agriculture and construction.

Our Avant Z catalysts are used for leading HDPE grades in slurry technologies, as well as for HDPE, medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) in gas-phase technology. Avant C chromium catalysts work for a range of HDPE applications.
