The unique Polybutene-1 (PB-1) chemistry from LyondellBasell enables a superior combination of rheology, mechanical properties together with long open times and faster bonding in hot melt adhesive (HMA) applications. High cohesive strength accompanied with very low viscosity and excellent flexibility is an advantage in HMA applications like woodworking, profile wrapping, cardboard packaging etc. Our Koattro grade range including the new Metallocene based PB-1 polymers help customers design optimized compositions in terms of cost and performance of the hot melt formulation.
