In 2015, the United Nations introduced the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, outlining 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to address the world's most pressing challenges. LyondellBasell recognizes its responsibility and opportunity to contribute meaningfully to these goals.
After a thorough assessment, we identified 11 SDGs that align closely with our sustainability strategy to help address challenges such as reducing plastic waste, helping to mitigate climate change and fostering a thriving society for our employees, communities and customers.
