CD Provides Overview of Lyondell Offerings for Paint and Coatings

HOUSTON, December 4, 2002 - A mini CD providing an overview of the company's solvents, resins and intermediates for paint and coating formulations is now available from Lyondell Chemical Company (NYSE: LYO).
The "Coatings Guide" CD includes pdf files of more than 50 technical data sheets, application data sheets, technical articles/presentations and product brochures. These files are accessible by technology (i.e. solvents, monomers and polymers) or by product name. Data sheets found on the CD provide application data, benefits, typical analysis, quality, safety, storage and handling information. Information about Equistar Chemicals, LP products for the paint and coatings industry, available through Lyondell, is also included on the CD.
