Peroxides

LyondellBasell produces a 70% solution of tert-butyl hydroperoxide in water in its PO/TBA process. T-Hydro solution is an intermediate in the manufacturing of other peroxide initiatiors and is also used as a polymerization initiator in the manufacturing of emulsions. T-Hydro is one of the few organic peroxides that is DOT-approved for transport in bulk.
