Coupling agents

Integrate functionalized resins from LyondellBasell are polyolefins that have been chemically modified to provide anhydride functionality on the polymer backbone. The polar functionality allows Integrate products to function as coupling agents in blends of dissimilar materials, by promoting compatibility in polymer blends, and by providing improved bonding in adhesive formulations. Integrate functionalized resins are used in a variety of applications including oupling agents for filled/reinforced polyolefin formulations and wood plastic composites (WPC), compatibilizers for polymer blends/alloys, polymer modifiers, dispersion aids and additives for polyolefin/fiber composites in glass-filled and mineral-filled applications.
