LyondellBasell has reported dividends paid by the company since 2013 as taxable dividends to the US Internal Revenue Service.  LyondellBasell expects that its dividends will continue to be taxable dividend distributions for purposes of the US tax law.

IRS Form 8937 is used by issuers of specified securities to report organizational actions that affect the basis of the securities involved in the organizational action.
