Strategic Planning and Transactions

LyondellBasell's Strategic Planning and Transactions (SP&T) group is responsible for long-term corporate planning function of the Company. This includes three key elements:

• Strategic Planning – analysis and forecasting of key economic drivers for the Company's portfolio of businesses;

• Capital Budgeting - analysis and prioritization of the Company's internal growth plans; and

• Mergers and Acquisitions – evaluating and executing transaction ideas.

In addition, the group is also responsible for communicating corporate plans and strategies to external investors through the Investor Relations function.
